- Energy consumption and meter data (MPAN, MPRN, kWh history, current supplier and end date)
- Digital identifiers (IP address, device fingerprint, session timestamps)
- Communications and supporting documents (uploaded bills processed via OCR)

- To request and compare quotes from energy suppliers
- To liaise with suppliers and place a contract
- To perform credit pre-screening via CreditSafe
- To comply with HMRC, supplier audit, and regulator obligations
- To detect fraud and prevent misuse of the platform
- To improve service quality

- Performance of contract or pre-contract steps for quotation and placement
- Legitimate interest, balanced against your rights, for fraud prevention and limited-company prospect outreach
- Consent for marketing communications
- Legal obligation for retention required by HMRC and supplier audit
5. Who We Share It With
We share personal data only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards in place. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Referral partners receive only the limited information necessary to confirm referral status, track conversions, and process commission payments. They do not receive full customer records or energy account data.
6. International Transfers
Data is hosted in the UK / EEA. Where any sub-processor processes data outside the UK / EEA, appropriate safeguards (UK adequacy decision or International Data Transfer Agreement) are in place.
7. Retention
Customer records are retained for six years from contract end date to meet supplier audit and tax requirements. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn.
8. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest; role-based access; MFA on privileged accounts; audit logging.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, subject to statutory limits. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We respond within one calendar month.
10. Complaints
Concerns can be raised with us first; if not resolved, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
